Palliative Care at Home
Our palliative live-in care service is sensitively designed to offer support and comfort to people who have made the decision that they wish to die at home, rather than in a hospice or hospital.
Knowing that end of life care is perhaps one of the most difficult topics for clients and their families to discuss, we always approach this with utmost professionalism, empathy and understanding at all times.
Our aim is to help individuals in their final months to achieve the best quality of life for as long as possible, in the relaxed and familiar surroundings of their home. The live-in carers we introduce provide round-the-clock support and work closely with key professionals involved in the palliative care to help keep the individual comfortable and their symptoms managed, monitored and under control.
We provide a dignified end of life care service, adopting a holistic approach which is centred on the individual and their wishes.
Our end of life carers adopt a holistic approach, providing physical, emotional and spiritual support based upon personal preferences – all of which they incorporate into the daily care routine to ensure the best possible tailored palliative care service which preserves privacy and dignity at all times.
They will slot seamlessly in to existing routines to ensure minimal disruption and remain calm, patient and reassuring, proving to be an invaluable companion and pillar of emotional support for both the client and their loved ones as they go through a deeply challenging time.
Our end of life service remains highly flexible. Carers are able to help as much or as little as required, on a temporary basis, for emergency situations or whilst family take respite.
